She dog? The one on the left. Why? Woman's intuition la! Maybe becoz tail is more rounded!
The papa dog(slimmer size)is on the left. Being loving and protective, he doesn't want the mother-to-be(bigger size)near the water. :+)

Can the she-dog be the one on the right? Something about the dog on the left being right next to the water, suggests it's the head? Also the way it's looking outward, so resolute it seems, and sure of what it wants!
Aha! Most of you felt that the dog on the right is the female one. Papa Bkworm thought so too...on the basis that she's got a bigger rear! Thanks for all your answers. You are all insightful in your own ways. :D
