No inspiration

I always look forward to meeting up with my friends, be it for lunch or even just for a cup of coffee. It’s the need for interaction and exchanging of ideas that never fails to get me going each time.

Last weekend, the Bkworms met up with the Board (of what’s left of it) for lunch. This is a group of friends who have been with me through thick and thin and we go back a long way. We don’t see each other very much because everyone is often busy with their own activities but we do try to meet up a few times a year especially when Straus is back in town.

I am not a big fan of Peranakan food especially with this sensitive stomach of mine. But one of the guys kicked up a fuss about eating any other foods OTHER than Asian, so the rest of us just gave in and we ended up at Ah Tuan Ee.

The conversation around the table was good, so, I suppose that was what really mattered. After lunch, we adjourned to Holly’s Coffee at the Curve.

An hour or so later, the gathering ended.
